Students across Pakistan pray for Malala's recovery

KARACHI: Students from cities across Pakistan strongly condemned the attack on Malala Yousafzai and prayed for her speedy recovery.
Students criticized the government for failing to provide security to Malala and said they would not stay silent if no action was taken.
Malala and two of her classmates were attacked outside their school on Tuesday. The Pakistani Taliban claimed responsibility of the attack.
Doctors on Wednesday were successful in removing a bullet which had pierced Malala’s head and had been lodged in her shoulder.
Speaking to reporters upon his arrival in Peshawar, Interior Minister Rehman Malik said that Malala was in stable condition and would not be sent abroad for treatment. He added that neurosurgeons’ from Britain and the US had been consulted and could be flown in if the need arose.
