LAHORE: Former Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) Chaudhry Aitzaz Ahsan Thursday that Supreme Court had hit a blind ally after sending the former prime minister Yusuf Raza Gilani home.
Talking to media men here, Aitzaz said the apex court should by now be convinced that the President of Pakistan should not present himself before a foreign magistrate. "If a letter is written upon dictation, it would lead to further complications," he asserted.
He said he had no idea if the government would write the letter to Swiss authorities.
Aitzaz Ahsan said he had seen the draft of the letter and that he had some reservations in this regard.
